BIO
Béatrice Lefèvre is a French–Swedish artist whose work explores light, color and perception beyond the visible world.
Her artistic journey began at an early age, influenced by the Russian painter Zoia Krukovskya Lagerkrans (1903–1999), whom she met during her summer holidays in Saltsjöbaden, Sweden. These early encounters deeply marked her sensitivity to painting, light and emotional expression.
She later studied Fine Arts and Art History in Aix-en-Provence, where she grew up, developing a strong foundation in both artistic practice and visual culture. Today, she lives and works between Italy and Switzerland, drawing inspiration from different landscapes, cultures and inner states.
Through painting and photography, Béatrice Lefèvre seeks to capture the life instinct, revealing another dimension of reality — one that goes beyond what we can concretely see. Her work aims to seize light and color, offering an extraordinary perspective on ordinary subjects, and inviting the viewer into a more subtle and emotional perception of the world.
Her works have been exhibited internationally in solo and collective exhibitions across Europe and the United States, and are held in private collections.
